JAMIE KUTCHMAN WYNNE made the leap from corporate world to creative world after recognizing the need for boutique gifting services following her own 2012 wedding. After resigning spontaneously on a conference call, she utilized her extensive sales and marketing background, and jumped head first into building her business, Marigold & Grey, and hasn’t looked back.

Marigold & Grey is an artisan welcome gift company based in the Washington, DC area. Their mission is simple. They want you to love what you gift and your guests giddy over what they receive. In order to make this happen,  a whole lot of thought, imagination, planning, ribbon tying, tissue paper fluffing, and overall magic that goes on behind the scenes by Jamie & her team.

Jamie spent a year dreaming up a business that would make the tedious welcome gift process feel like a piece of cake to her Clients while offering plenty of chic, unique, locally-inspired choices. But don’t let the fancy-schmancy website fool you. They are still a small business that thoughtfully and carefully prepares each order themselves, specifically with their Client and Client’s style in mind.

When not designing gifts or encouraging other creatives, you’ll find her with her golf-smitten husband Jeff and two rescue pups, Lewis & Clarkie. She’s a true Virginia girl at heart.
