JULIE LOGAN is the Manager of Business Diversity at TIAA and a business leader with over 20-years of experience in specialty areas such as Supplier Diversity, Capacity Building Programs, Business Support Services, Corporate Events, Information Technology Administration and Business System designs. Julie takes pride in developing strong relationships with diverse owned enterprises, that will foster economic and social opportunities, and the inclusive representation throughout the procurement of products/services for the organization.
At TIAA, she is responsible for Supplier Engagement, Supplier Diversity Program Management, Marketing & Communications and Outreach/Event Engagements. She is responsible for the diverse Supplier Engagement strategy by serving as the Business Diversity Relationship Manager for business areas such as Chief Operating Office, Digital & Client Experience, Marketing & Communications, the People Team as well as for the current supplier base. She develops and executes the strategic plan for the Diverse Supplier Academy, which seeks to connects diverse suppliers with key leaders across the organization, through programs such as the Mentorship Program, Webinars and Scholarships. Additionally, she oversees the enterprise training for Business/Supplier Diversity, and policy & procedure development.
Prior to joining TIAA, Julie was Vice President and Supplier Diversity Business Initiative Consultant, at Wells Fargo, overseeing various national capacity building and supplier development programs.
As a leader in supplier diversity providing expertise to the diverse business community, she has spoken at an array of supplier diversity industry events and conferences, such as the Greater Women’s Business Council, the Charlotte Minority Economic Development Initiative, the North Carolina Business Leadership Network, and the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas. Julie has also been featured in Savoy magazine and Pride Multicultural Resource magazine.
Entrepreneur: Julie is the Owner & CEO of JLogan Business Support Services, a virtual business support company and subsidiary of JLogan and Company, LLC. She is also the Founder and CEO of a Women’s Empowerment initiative, dedicated to providing education and resources, to women on living a Healthy, Empowered, and Resilient (H.E.R.) Lifestyle. Most recently she became a licensee, owner & operator of a gourmet popcorn shop in Charlotte, NC: Popcorn Heaven-Steele Creek.
Motivational speaker: As an inspirational speaker, Julie seeks every opportunity to share H.E.R. journey as a 19-year breast cancer survivor, to empower and motivate women that they too can live a Healthy, Empowered, and Resilient (H.E.R.) Lifestyle.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as the Institute of Supply Chain Management (ISM). She is also a certified Career & Life Coach. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
