TAMMY DICKERSON, CMP is Founder and President of tbg Events. TBG, founded in 2000, is an award winning, certified women and minority-owned full service Event Management firm that builds brands through dynamic special events. TBG delivers professional, creative and cutting edge services to such clients as AEG, Coca Cola and Wells Fargo. TBG has become a go-to event production firm for large-scale regional conferences and meetings throughout the United States, in such major markets as Florida, Nevada and New York. The Baker Group produces several international conferences such as the Milken Institute Global Conference hosted annually in Beverly Hills, California.

As President, Tammy has guided the firm’s steady growth over the past decade, producing over 200 events with over 100 international and domestic clients, and serving more than 75,000 guests. TBG has attracted a varied client roster including American Honda Motor Corp., Disney, Nestle, Major League Baseball, bp, Turks & Caicos International Film Festival, Morehouse College, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and Los Angeles Urban League.

Before launching TBG, Dickerson enjoyed over 13 successful years with The Coca-Cola Company and Xerox Corporation. Pursuing her passion for entrepreneurship, Dickerson resigned from her position at Coca-Cola to manage her first event under The Baker Group — The Inner City Economic Summit featuring special guest speaker the Honorable Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States.

Tammy has been recognized by several organizations and publications including Black Enterprise Magazine, WilesMag.com, The Los Angeles Business Journal “Women Making a Difference,” Minorities & Women in Business Magazine and US Small Business Administration and most recently Southern California Minority Supplier Diversity Council as “Supplier of the Year” for 2009.
