CANDACE WRIGHT WILLIAMS is a certified coach, speaker, and owner of The Visie Group.  Candace’s mission in life is to improve the overall human experience.  She uses her keen knowledge and strategic tools to increase her customer’s satisfaction and engagement in all areas of their lives.

With more than 15 years of customer service and operational experience, Candace has worked in the areas of supply chain, patient, guest, and volunteer services. She currently serves as the Novant Health Director of Patient Advocacy and Health Humanities.  Candace uses her voice on the Novant Health Patients as Partners Podcast, where she interviews patients, families, and Novant Health leaders about how patients and the healthcare system partner to deliver on the remarkable patient experience.  Within the workplace, she chairs the Novant Health Women’s Business Resource Group (WBRG).  The Association of Employee Resource Groups and Councils ranked the WBRG #1 and #2 in the nation in 2021 and 2020, respectively.

Candace is an active member of the community where she enjoys giving back.  She specifically partners with organizations such as Sugar Creek Charter School, a school whose mission it is to eradicate poverty through education. She chairs the Executive Board’s development committee and is a member of the student engagement committee. Additionally, Candace is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Junior League of Charlotte, and of the Charlotte Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Candace was recently named a 2020 Top 100 Under 50 Emerging        Leader by Diversity MBA.

Candace earned her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University.  She has been married to her husband, Rufus, for 25 years and they have 4 young adult and teenage children.
