Amanda Burg is the founder and creative director of Liberty Type Co., a full-service branding and marketing agency based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Known for her ability to blend compelling messaging with strategic design, Amanda helps established service-based businesses transform their online presence into brands that earn trust on sight. Through her signature process, The Complete Brand, she guides clients through a 14-week journey that aligns strategy, messaging, visuals, and websites into one cohesive identity.

Before launching Liberty Type in 2016, Amanda spent six years as an investigative journalist in Philadelphia, where she honed her storytelling skills and eye for detail. Her transition from journalism to branding was fueled by a passion for design and a desire to create meaningful connections between businesses and their audiences. Today, Liberty Type has served more than 200 businesses nationwide, from interior designers booking six-figure projects to wellness experts scaling their practices.

Amanda’s work has been featured by Flodesk and recognized for its impact on female entrepreneurs and service professionals. She also served as a fractional brand director for national retailer Altar’d State, leading the launch of their children’s brand, Tullabee.
